I thoroughly enjoyed a powerful yoga and sound healing session with Jodie and David at the vegan rainbow cafe in Fenham. I must admit that i was concerned about doing yoga as it had been a long while since i had tried, and I am not getting any younger!! I had no need to worry, the yoga was delivered expertly and i had all the support i needed for my wobbles and even received adjustments (was put into the right position) for the more difficult moves and stretches. Doing the yoga session before the sound healing was excellent – it helped me to get properly into my body, centred, and enabled me to be fully present during the wonderful sound bath from David.

I came along for a one-off session while visiting family, and I was extremely impressed with the class!

I’ve been to a few guided yoga sessions before at various gyms, but this was by a large margin the most relaxing, easy to follow, pleasant one I’ve ever been to. A great set of options was presented for all activity, meaning you could exert yourself as much or as little as you like, and all instruction was clear and easy to follow, which gives everyone more confidence.

Highly recommend to everybody!

I tried chair Yoga today and I really enjoyed it.  The stretches were easy to do and you could feel the pull in the neck, shoulders and back.  Jodie’s calming voice helped get the breathing technique right.  With her guidance and calming teaching I felt uplifted after the session.  Jodie really cares about her clients and even sent a follow up message offering breathing techniques to do at home.

Jodie delivered a fantastic session today at our Women’s development programme. The session included Chair Yoga as well as mat based Yoga which allowed everyone in the group to take part. Jodie was such a calming influence, after the session she spent a lot of time with individuals discussing any requirments they had. Huge thank you again, Jodie, it was such a brilliant session.

Jodie is a lovely person and a brilliant yoga teacher.  I had my first ever yoga lesson with her last week, I was a little nervous, but she answered all my questions and gave me enough confidence to go along to a session.  I thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be going back for more.  She makes everyone feel at ease no matter what their ability. I met Jodie as a student teacher of Yoga late 2021. In my time practicing with her she has become a great friend and peer. Jodie is a great Yoga teacher with a deep rooted passion for the practice, philosophies and spiritual concepts that is apart of Yoga. This is very apparent in her enthusiasm to simply teach public classes and work with clients on on one for their specific needs. 

I have practiced with Jodie in class and as a client on a one to one basis. During my one to one block with Jodie I really felt my own relationship with the practice deepen. I have worked on a lot of balance for my own athletic, sporting requirements and I have recently made significant improvements in the sport I play which has really meant a lot to me. Something I want to publicly display my gratitude for in this review!

I met Jodie and another lady called Tony we did the chair Session Yoga.  Jodie was great and helped us both to achieve the moves as best we could.  It was a friendly and relaxed time for the 3 of us and I do think it actually benefitted us all as we laughed afterwards and shared a group hug.  We were 3 strangers to start with and now we are 3 friends.  I’m looking forward to our next Session next week.

Up to now, I have only attended 3 Chair Yoga at the well-being hub cafe Wallsend on a Wednesday 3pm. I am really benefiting from chair yoga as it really helps me to de-stress myself and  really helps to ease my pain that I have been getting due to the start of contracted shoulder chair yoga is totally helping me. Also, I was 4ft n 10 n 3/4 of an inch, so basically I was just under 4ft n 11 I got Jodie to measure my height. I am now 5ft so chair yoga and all the stretches have helped me through. I always look forward to my sessions. Thank you Jodie, you’re an amazing  yoga teacher. Thank you for helping me. I will continue my sessions, well done 👏👏 Keep up the fantastic work.

Jodie delivered 4 10-minute chair yoga sessions at a corporate event we held this week. She was a port of calm in a busy day and making people feel so chilled in just 10 minutes was no easy task, but she was incredible. I have just done a yoga class delivered by Jodie. As I said to her myself she absolutely has a gift for helping, guiding and has the most amazing caring and nurturing presence. I am just coming Back to yoga and Jodie took this into consideration and supported me through this initial transition in such a personal way.

I will absolutely be attending more of Jodies classes in the future as I know the journey with her will be an amazing experience.
